A Bit About Me
I'm 18, but don't let that influence your thoughts too much. I've been making crafts for a very long time and started making jewelry about 3 ½ years ago and I still really love doing it. The only problems is that I make so much that it piles up. Sure, a girl can never have too many pairs of earrings or necklaces, but I've been running out of room for a while now. I always like to use quality materials because I like to make stuff look good. I even throw away beads that I consider to be damaged or imperfect that other people would probably keep. (It's a pain being a perfectionist.) But that being said, everything is handmade and of course because of this minor imperfections will always exist. I'm definately not making "professional" jewelry you'd find in a mall jewelry store next to diamonds or something, but this also isn't the $20 Macy's made in Taiwan crap, either. I don't mean to particularly pick on Macy's, just be aware that they carry a lot of junk. Just know that I enjoy it and get lots of compliments on it, and so I figure it can't hurt to share it.
About Amour Propre
I started this website to sell my numerous creations. Soon it may include joint ventures in sewing and other crafty arts with friends. Expect nothing less than fabulous. :D This website opened, technically in October of 2004, but only got off its feet as a jewelry site around May of 2005. Unfortunately, it is still very fresh and I have many more items I will be adding to the inventory soon.
